About this event

The National Association of Federal Retirees has partnered with Tradex, GERAS Centre for Aging Research, and Melody Walz, Certified Pension Presenter, to offer a two-day Pre-retirement webinar at the special introductory price of $100, which includes:

  • a year’s membership with Federal Retirees
  • a personal financial assessment offered by Tradex
  • a complimentary 20-minute appointment with Melody Walz’s company to gain some insight into the process of transitioning from federal public service employee to pensioner
  • the course material

The webinar will cover the following topics:

  • Your Public Service Pension Plan Member Education Session*
  • Living Your Best Life
  • Financial Planning, Estate Planning and Putting it All Together
  • Staying Connected with Federal Retirees

The course will be delivered in English and will be limited to a maximum of 40 participants. Should the webinar reach that limit, you will be placed on a waiting list. We will contact you if a seat becomes available or a new date is confirmed.

Registration will close on Monday September 20 at 11:59pm eastern time.

Refund Policy: Refunds for individual registrations will be accepted up to five business days prior to the event. Send your cancelation request to training@federalretirees.ca.

*Note: Within our course, we only offer the Pension Centre’s “regular” pension presentation for public servants.
